Since Google decided to scrap FLoC because of the negative response from pretty much everywhere, it’s come up with the Topics API now. Do you think this would be a more welcome change or are we gonna end up back to square one?

I see a plugin blocking Topics API already with 400+ active installations so I’m not sure if this is gonna be welcomed by the WordPress community.
I wish Google would stick to what they should be doing, showing relevant search results. Which they do pretty good. So all this “innovation” probably not needed.
