I tried running the recommended plug-in upgrade for phpMyAdmin and it knocked my site offline and also my admin dashboard. I get a parse error (x’s just mask identifying info):
Parse error: (xxxxxx) syntax error, unexpected ‘.’, expecting ‘,’ or ‘;’ in /afs/xxxxx.xxxxx.edu/user/p/b/xxxxxxxx/web_scripts/lab_website/wp-content/plugins/wp-phpmyadmin-extension/library.php on line 2613
I recently inherited the site from a colleague who is unable to provide help and I’ve got pretty minimal info at hand. I think what I need to do next is FTP into the site to first try and disable the plug in by moving the phpmyadmin folder. If that is correct, I need to figure out how to get the FTP credentials (which were provided when the site was created? this predates my involvement and I don’t have it). This is where I am stuck.
