so I backed up my site updated the PHP and the site crashed was able to get a backup running but it is very old. can’t get the newest version running. Not sure which one is the correct there was multiple backups in the backup locations need a test a test site I can try these different backups from cpanel
Don’t want to try to keep updating the sites and it be up and down continually new to learning some of this

Check the error logs and find which plugin/theme is causing the crash, then download older version of the plugin/theme and upload it using FTP.
As always, Enable debugging so you can see why the site is crashing. It’s rare that you ever need to restore from backup – just fix the problem at hand.
