I work Google Ads and some WordPress and recently while making cold calls to service providers advertising through Google Ads I noticed that many have extremely terrible or very old websites.
I’m not talking terrible by modern designing standards but just plain unreadable websites with missing features. These services are dentists and home repair services. One guy had a website straight out of 2004 completely static. One website did not have a footer. It was just blank. One guy was running Google Ads that I’m sure would cost 10$ per click & his website didn’t have a call to action. His number was given in the form of a business card in such an obscure way it was hard to read.
I was thinking I could create simple 200$ websites for them that would be a huge improvement. How to capitalize on this? Are service providers such as home repair & plumbers simply not interested in upgrading their sites or can they be convinced?
