Somebody help cure my bad attitude. I have had it since I designed my first site in the mid 1990s.
Back then I used HTML. Soon I discovered the rabbit hole of the user interface. I discovered that Internet Creator would do not just a page but a whole website! Back in those days designing a whole site was a revelation.
That sufficed for a number of years and then I discovered FrontPage. Now and I have this bad attitude attitude involving only being able to use the simple graphic interface of FrontPage. Is there any plug in that I can use in WordPress that replicates the FrontPage user interface.
They have a simple three tab screen. One tab is edit, one tab shows how the page will look, and kinda resembles Microsoft Word. one tab shows HTML in case you want to get technical or paste in for example a PayPal Sell button.
Everything is very easy and very graphic. I can’t get used to any WordPress interface that I have seen.
Does what I am looking for exist? A friend has designed a site opening page for me possibly with a theme called vantage, and I can’t figure out either how to change anything or how to sell anything or even how to use it at all. To me doing something as simple as changing a font seems to be impossibly complex. Is it really as difficult as it seems? The only thing unusual about my site is that I can’t design it to be expandable with SKUs. The items that I sell are all vintage or antique collectibles that come in totals of one and one only. When that item is sold it is sold and the item being sold changes completely.

As much as Elementor cops a lot of hate, it will probably be pretty simpel for you to use. Or, since you have a bit of web knowledge under your belt, you might also like https://bricksbuilder.io/
