I am working on a website that currently has 36 plugins installed. That seems excessive for a simple portfolio website and I want to trim things down a bit. I am thinking the previous developer purchased a bundle from them and just decided to make use of them.

I am aware there are better alternatives when it comes to SEO like RankMath, and even for backups such as UpdraftPlus. I was going to just get rid of them but at the bottom of all of the dashboard pages, I see this:

So, I am worried about the website breaking, which is the last thing I’d need. I also see it being mentioned in Settings:
