Good Afternoon,
I have checked the rules and hopefully I am not breaking them by posting here.
I have a self hosted WordPress Installation which is in maintenance mode however I have received a couple of Spam Comments which I needed to approve.
Obviously I have marked as spam but I am wondering how they got through in the first place- is it a simple case of the spammers knowing the direct path / route to “POST” a comment to the appropriate PHP script to or is there something I am missing?
Any advice would be appreciated.
