[I keep getting this when I paste from my Docs file to WordPress editor. I clear formatting but that is tedious if I forget to do so. Any idea to permanently remove it?])

No easy way AFAIK. I often find it easier just to paste in as Text mode and redo the headings manually.
If there’s a lot of text, I’ll sometimes use a “cleaner” like
Use Ctrl+Shift+V instead of just Ctrl+V to paste without formatting. It may take a little while to become habit, but I use it for all pastes no matter what I’m doing now.
If you accidentally forget to do it, just copy the text you just pasted again and repaste it.
