Spectra database update in progress for Days!

[ad_1]

I had the same issue when updating the database on our staging site. The process took more than ten hours on a 8 EPYC Core 64 GB RAM server even though we have Spectra blocks on less than ten pages (we try to stick to the native blocks until Spectra launches a beta program to catch these issues before they roll out the updates). Unfortunately, while the database update was in progress, all styles broke on the frontend, so we will not be able to run the update on our live site until this bug is addressed.

I reached out to Spectra’s support team. They are aware of the issue.

Thank you for sharing this! I will try to boost the server resource for 24 hours and see if that will speed things up. I ran this on my live site, so I want to get it over with before making more updates to the site.

I am also not even sure we are using any Spectra blocks. I tried finding a list of each block (names) so I could identify them, but I may be missing it on their site.

I checked which pages we had used Spectra blocks on with the Find My Blocks plugin.

Amazing! Thank you so much!

We do have some blocks. I boosted server resources and hope that helps. Hopefully, we can hear from someone on the support team soon. I don’t want to stop the process and break something.

I updated it to the latest version, which I believe showed up today, and the update is now completed. Thanks!
