Hello all! I’m new to WordPress and helping a friend out with his site. I’m running his google ads and the current version of his site is hot garbage. I want to edit his copy to align it with my ad copy, change his pictures and give it a facelift. I’ve run into the issue where the fonts and containers are not able to be adjusted. I’ve read that its possible the original version is being fussy and giving me a hard time.
I wanted to know if there was a way to purchase a theme and build the site out from scratch while the current version is live. I believe it will be easier than making all the edits he currently needs. Can I set this up in staging/sandbox and once I’m finished get it live? What would be the steps to getting this set up?
