Subdomains

[ad_1]

I’m running a Facebook ad campaign for my business, and the ad will take users to a landing page.

In order to create a landing page, I first need a subdomain.

My issue is, I use a “basic managed WP” plan through Godaddy (I know I know no one likes GoDaddy lol).

I have no issue creating the subdomain through the DNS files. However, I don’t understand how to actually build a WP site on that subdomain.

GoDaddy is telling me I need to upgrade my plan to include C panel.

I am by no means an expert. Would anyone mind sharing some insight on how this works/what I should do? Does the C panel plan sound like the right move?

  1. I would start off by moving your domain and hosting off of godaddy. They make you pay for everything and limit which wordpress plugins you can use and their cache is ballsack.

Do yourself a favor and just cancel everything to do with godaddy and try to get a refund, and move to a different host.

To answer the question “Does the C panel plan sound like the right move?” No it doesn’t.
