I’m looking for suggestions for a registration plugin for a summer camp that I work with. The camp itself is for kids with specific medical conditions, and by and large is invite-only with criteria for the extent of injuries, length of hospital stay, etc. It’s typically 20 or so campers, and they can (and typically do) return annually until they turn 18.
Right now, I’m running everything through Gravity Forms (with Zapier+DocuSign for a few esign forms) which works ok. The biggest issue with this is that there are some forms that, right now, we have participants fill out every year that are pretty cumbersome, and realistically only need to be completed the first time someone participants and then reviewed and maybe updated annually after that. Ideally, I’d like separate registration flows for new campers where all forms get filled out and for returning campers where forms that are likely to stay fairly constant are prepopulated but with the option to make edits. Most of the campers’ parents aren’t particularly tech-savvy, so it needs to be as simple as possible.
I know a lot of this can be done through Gravity, but realistically is going to involve ponying up for some more plugins. Before doing that, I figured I’d see if there are any suggestions for purpose-built plugins that might be more user-friendly on both the admin side and the user side for this kind of thing. I’ll also note that I’m not opposed to a non-WP solution (CampBrain was mentioned in an old post with a similar question), but I’m not convinced we have quite enough campers to create enough admin load to justify the cost.
