thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.
From what I can see, the cause for this is that you are also using the Shortcodes Ultimate plugin. This also has a [table] Shortcode, from what I can see, and that overriding the TablePress Shortcode. Now, Shortcodes Ultimate used to use the prefix su_ in their Shortcodes. Maybe that setting got changed?
Can you maybe check that, or maybe turn off the [table] Shortcode in Shortcodes Ultimate?

Thank you for your fast response! I know it’s late where you are. You are correct indeed! I deactivated Shortcodes, and then TablePress worked fine. Ok, now I at least know what the problem is.
