woocommerce shipping and taxes is the only plugin that I have in terms of shipping.

What is a cache plugin?

If you have one installed, it might be causing the issue.

To use legacy checkout, you should use the shortcode. Start by removing the checkout block. Then, on the checkout page, add the [woocommerce_checkout] shortcode.

The best way to troubleshoot this issue is by conducting a conflict test:

  • Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront
  • Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce
  • Repeat the action that is causing the problem

If you do not see the same problem after completing the conflict test, then you know the problem was with the plugins and/or theme you deactivated. To determine which plugin is causing the problem, reactivate your other plugins one by one, testing after each, until you find the one causing conflict. so, I cannot use the shortcode for the checkout, as it does not provide me any ability to style the content, and since my website is using a black background, thats no beuno
