Seeing one of the leading forces behind Pods (Scott) leave Fields API and have had enough of M. drama I wonder if should I choose Pods as a tool for my next projects or if this is a nonissue. I don’t mind if you move Pods to your website and change licensing or whatnot. All I want the know is would this project continue to live or if should I skip to Meta Box.
Was never a fan of ACF (Advanced Custom Fields) anyway.
Now when they became SCF (Stollen Custom Fields – pun intended) I am not going to judge you given the circumstances surrounding that person which cause everyone to rethink and reiterate their ideas. Also, I don’t mind paying a small fee for an annual license.
But I would like to know what to plan. If possible.
