Title is not displayed for an individual post

[ad_1]

You’re using the GeneratePress theme.

Kindly check the post’s Layout options to see if you’ve not inadvertently checked the option to hide the title (See screenshot below).

If the option is not checked, kindly ask in the GeneratePress theme’s own support forum, so your theme’s author and user community can help you with this:

Good luck!

Yes, I’m using the GeneratePress theme.

But in GeneratePress theme there is an option to change the layout in the pages only, this actually a post type.

In the post editor, there is no option to disable the title. So kindly let me know if there is any other reason that could be available.

In the post editor, there is no option to disable the title.

That’s not quite true.

The screenshot I posted was taken from a fresh WordPress test site with the free version of the GeneratePress theme active and no plugin installed.

I also have the option to disable it in pages but this option is not available in the posts.

Please see the screenshot of the posting page and its options.

Your screenshot doesn’t show the full editor.

Note that the GeneratePress “Layout” options panel can be positioned in the right column or at the bottom of the editor (see screenshot below). So you may check there as well.

If you still do not find it, or if you find it but the checkbox to disable the title is not even checked, please make a fresh post in the GeneratePress theme’s own support forum linked earlier above — so the theme’s developer can help you with this.

Hey,

Thank you very much for your help. I haven’t noted it on the footer side. Now I found it and now the title lives now.

Best,
