Transition from Staging Site to Live Site

[ad_1]

I am a total novice when it comes to WordPress/ IT stuff generally. My small nonprofit has redone our website, with all of the changes on a staging site with the domain [](https://staging.ournonprofit.org). I have been tasked with transitioning the staging site to our live site, and am unsure how to proceed. Is this a task that someone with essentially no skills can do, or should I recommend that we find a volunteer/hire someone to do this?

Would also love any advice on how to start! Thanks so. much

Not really – there’s a lot that can go wrong, and a lot that will go wrong that you won’t know about. Pay an experienced WP dev 1-2 hours to do it all properly.

  2. Definitely don’t do it yourself based on your described skill level.

Depending on your NFP I might be able to “volunteer” this one. DM me.
