I have blacklisted several IP addresses on my site to prevent comments appearing to any post from that site. The rule I’ve configured in WP (Discussion settings) is to send those comments directly to Trash. Works great.
Q: What response message or feedback does the user at a blacklisted site see when the comment is submitted? “Your comment has been refused”? “Comment sent to Trash”? Or maybe the user gets no feedback at all?
