Trouble with “There was an error while saving”

Hi. I am new to wordpress and I am encountering difficulty with a warning when I try to save changes in my themify website. I seemingly randomly get a warning pop-up in the bottom right corner that says "There was an error while saving. Please try again." It doesn't seem to be related to anything in particular, sometimes I have the issue, other times I do not.

It is intermittent and pretty frustrating to try and get anything done on the website. Any ideas?
