Unwanted custom fields in user profile

[ad_1]

I recently was handed the task of managing a sport club’s website, which has been ignored for a few years. At some point, the site used Ninja Forms to create online registration for their events, and as a result, there are about a dozen weird event-specific custom fields in the user profiles. This is kind of a pain, because if I want to, for example, change a former officer’s level of access on the site from Admin to Contributor, I can’t update his profile unless I go through and fill something into all those dozen or so fields. Is there a way to remove them from the User profile but leave them in the Ninja Forms setup (on the off-chance they decide to do online registration for another event)?

Be gentle, I’m a graphic artist, not a programmer, but I’m the only one around here who isn’t afraid of computers.
