I noticed a strange issue while uploading a plugin on my wordpress, it did not detect that there was a latest update for it, however on my other wp website, when i uplaoded the same plugin, it detected an update and had an option to update to the latest version.
Both wp are on the latest version.
Any idea on what could cause this?

Try going to the plugin page, find the plugin, and then sometimes there will be a link that says “Check for updates”.
