Update Issues with Solid Security Basic: 9.0.1

[ad_1]

Hi @hiskingdomprophecy, I’m glad you’ve reached out to us! We’re working hard on resolving this error as fast as humanly possible, and we appreciate your patience.

Could you confirm that it happens when only Solid Security Basic 9.0.1 is active on the site? If so, could you please send any errors you see in your browser console while browsing through the blank pages? Please also check your server error logs for recent errors and send them here.

Hi Angus,

In addition to @shanedelierrr post it may be usefull to temporarily add the line below to your wp-config.php file:

define( 'SCRIPT_DEBUG', true );

This way any javascript errors in the browser console will make more sense (to us) 😉 Don’t forget to undo the change in the wp-config.php file (enabling script debugging also results in performance loss) once you are done.

Hi, sorry to hop on to this issue, but I’m also experiencing the same issues.

There’s 404 errors for:

  • 2018.js
  • 1247.js
  • 2727.js
  • 2018.css

in the dist folder of the plugin on those pages. the 2018.js/.css are missing on all pages, but the common one missing on the broken pages is the 2727.js

Hi everyone, we have successfully replicated the issue on our test sites wherein the Dashboard and Firewall pages are showing as blank for SolSec 9.0.1 due to the missing files. Rest assured, we are actively working on a fix for this, and I’ll update you with our progress. In the meantime, please temporarily roll back to v9.0.0 (you can grab the zip here), and if you have further information, please don’t hesitate to let me know.

We understand the importance of resolving this ASAP, and we appreciate your patience!

Hi Angus,

It seems there are some files missing in the dist folder of the 9.0.1 release. I understand SolidWP is working hard to fix this asap.

Since there is no database upgrade from 9.0.0 to 9.0.1 it’s safe to temporarily rollback to the v9.0.0 plugin release.

@nlpro

Thanks for the update and advice. Much appreciate!

If I ever need the information on the blank tabs I’ll roll it back 🙂 In the meantime I’ll just wait. Not urgent for me. 🙂

Regards and thanks,
Angus
