Super confused by this – to be clear I’m a site owner, not a wordpress dev.
I just updated to the latest version of WordPress last night, and now the Summary box in the editor only allows me to set visibility, publish date, slug (via a popup which is annoying), and then checkboxes for stock to top of blog/pending review and a post format.
I have a team of writers and a VA that does uploads, so the person who uploads is not the writer, and right now it seems I have to go back to the post list and use the quick edit to change the author.
The URL/Slug setup is really annoying as well as it doesn’t have a way for me to just copy the full ULR including the https:// to put in the canonical in Yoast, so I have to copy the URL that starts with domain and then enter https:// manually.
I’ve been through the settings and can’t find anything relating to either issue.
Am I missing something here?
