Our site had used the /wp-content/uploads/yyyy/mm folder structure for uploads, and have adjusted the setting so they now go to /wp-content/uploads
The problem is that this only effects future uploads, not the previous files that have been uploaded.
Is there a way to:
* Move a all existing uploads to the /wp-content/uploads/ folder
* Update all references in the database so the posts point at the ‘new’ folder location
how long have u been using the month format? Im an insane person so I would probable manually move the files then search and replace? hmmm too tired to give a better answer. Theres gotta be a write up
