Using Avada template and Elementor to edit

I’m having trouble using the Avada template with Elementor. When I try to edit the home page, a text editor pops up instead of Elementor’s elements like containers, grids, headings, and images. I want to edit it using Elementor or something similar, as I don’t want to learn how to use Avada.

I have attach an image of what I am seeing as I don’t want to work in code, unless it easy to view HTML.
