Hi new WP developer here,
I have a question about plugins and developing in a staging environment for clients. A client needs a form that is on her current site to also be on the new site after migrating. However, to build the form on the staging environment I need access to the Pro version of the plugin. She has it already and the staging env only has the free version. I have a couple questions about this problem:

1) The plugin I am using is Bookly. As far as I can tell it’s a one time purchase and it does not have a certain number of activations like some plugins. Even if I migrated now, that would just clear her site and current plug in set up, right? It’s not like migrating would give me access to her plug ins.

2) In general, how do you go about this problem when working for clients especially when they already paid for the plugin? Why would they pay for it again just for you to rebuilt something they already have, just on a staging environment?
