Visitors cannot register without being asked to log in

When I was using the free version of the plugin, I was able to register without being asked to log in.

Now that I’ve updated to the PRO version in order to be able to customize the registration form, I am not able to register as a visitor. I am being asked to log in to register. I have opened the page link for the registration page in an incognito browser window.

I do have “Allow visitors to register as affiliates” toggled on. I even toggled it off to see if I was thinking about it the wrong way around, but I’m still being asked to log in. I toggled “Allow visitors to register as affiliates” back on [back to green showing] and I’m still being asked to log in to register to be an affiliate.

I have already done a page refresh [F5] and a reload [CTRL+F5], neither of which worked. I also already right-clicked on the page, went to Inspect and the Application and cleared the cache and cookies that way, and I’m still being asked to log in.

I do not want people to have to create a user account BEFORE being able to register to be considered for my affiliate program. I do not want them to have an account on my website unless/until I approve them.
