Hi,
I’m desperately looking for a solution to convert my images to WebP format, knowing that I’m on a shared server (hosted by Hostgator). So I can’t directly import images in this format into WordPress, and plug-ins like Imagify or Converter for Media don’t work (I don’t have the GD library on my server, for example).
I’ve already contacted Hostagtor, but unless I change my server type to a dedicated server, they don’t have any solutions.
I’ve also tried a CDN for on-the-fly conversions, but it doesn’t seem to work…
Do you have any solutions that aren’t too technical, that would save me from having to change servers…
