Website changes each year, recommendation on backing up annual site in an accessible, secure way

[ad_1]

I have a website for an annual event that gets “rebuilt” each year. I need a plan to backup the site each year, but still host it in an accessible (to me) way. Here are my criteria:

1. I would like to be able to access the site via browser
2. Once “archived” I do not want the site to be indexed by search engines
3. I do not want to have to purchase additional licenses for plugins, page builders, etc.
4. I would like to be able to access multiple year’s worth of sites [example.com/2023archive](http://example.com/2023archive), [example.com/2022archive](http://example.com/2022archive)
5. I do not want to update plugins for the archived event site, so I will need to minimize the security risk.

Any recommendations? I will not need to make any changes to these sites, so maybe convert to static?
