I run a website which used to get at least 200 to 400 views in the realtime view in google analytics. Last year april, my website was infected with malware and had gone down for a few days. I hired someone from fiverr to fix it and the malware seemed to have gone after a few months.
Now I’m only getting 10 to 20 views in realtime and the overall views have gone very low, thus affecting my revenue and page views.
My website teaches chords of songs with interactive chords and lyrics. Is there something that can be done to bring my website back to it’s glory days?
Any help or suggestions are helpful. Thanks

I’m sorry to hear about the challenges you’ve faced with your website. Recovering from a malware attack can be a daunting task, and it’s frustrating to see the impact it has had on your traffic and revenue.
Here are a few steps you can take to try to bring your website back to its former performance:
1. **Security Audit**: Conduct a thorough security audit to ensure that all vulnerabilities have been addressed and that your website is secure from future attacks. Consider hiring a professional cybersecurity expert to perform this audit if necessary.
2. **Content Quality**: Make sure your content is still relevant and engaging to your audience. Consider updating your content with fresh material, including new song chords and interactive features to attract visitors back to your site.
3. **SEO Optimization**: Review your website’s SEO strategies to ensure that your pages are optimized for search engines. Focus on using relevant keywords, meta tags, and high-quality backlinks to improve your site’s visibility in search engine results pages (SERPs).
4. **User Experience (UX)**: Enhance the user experience on your website to make it more appealing and easy to navigate. Optimize loading times, improve mobile responsiveness, and ensure that your interactive features are intuitive and user-friendly.
5. **Promotion and Marketing**: Invest in promoting your website through various channels, such as social media, email newsletters, and online advertising. Engage with your audience regularly to build a loyal following and encourage them to share your content with others.
6. **Analytics and Monitoring**: Continuously monitor your website’s performance using tools like Google Analytics to track traffic trends, user behavior, and conversion rates. Use this data to identify areas for improvement and adjust your strategies accordingly.
