I’ve been looking at [Gamipress]) because they openly state on their home page that Gamipress is:
>Open-source and free Just like WordPress – Download it directly from the WordPress repository. **There is no premium version of GamiPress so you get everything that GamiPress offers in one neat package.**
However what they *actually* mean… is that in order for Gamipress to work you will need to purchase multiple add-ons from their library of 42 paid (and separate WordPress plugins) “packages”.
**Is tolerating Gamipress’ less than honest sales statement worth doing business with them** (*Afterall, with such a precedent set – What other “gotchas!” await the unsuspecting purchaser on the other side of the sales threshold)?*

**My ultimate hope is to provide my site visitors with the ability to purchase my commercially available content & products by contributing value to my life in ways other than paying via currency.**
Here are the objectives I’m seeking to achieve by “gamifying” (I kind of dislike this term) my website:
* Award my site visitors points for site interactions that are redeemable in the place of currency.
1. Points for registering as a site user.
2. Points for offering me feedback.
3. Points for providing me with insights & guidance via specific forms.
4. Points for subscribing to one (or more) of my newsletters.
* Reward my site visitors with meaningful opportunities to redeem points for **useful** info & goods:
1. Redeem points to unlock pieces of premium membership content (without having to become actual members).
2. Redeem points towards partial discounts or the entire purchase price of a WooCommerce product.
3. Redeem points for use as payment towards product support.
