What’s up in Cupertino, California?

My WordPress gets a dozen or more visits each day from Cupertino, California. I know that Apple works out of Cupertino and I run my site on an iMac. All of these visits (several hundred/month) have different IP numbers, but they all begin with the number "17." Is Apple crawling my site, or are these individual Apple users that somehow access my site through some Apple program? This has gone on for a few years now.

  1. Your website is getting attacked. Use wordfence plugin for utmost security along with cloudflare for DDOS protection

  2. A dozen isn’t really something I would be concerned about. It’s normal to have 1000’s upon thousands of random visits from bots and such visiting a site, especially if it has a decent link profile and search rankings. Cloudflare can help and bot mitigation plugins like malcare and server-side help from imunify, fail2ban, WAF and a firewall can also help. If you can’t control server-side components, as a last last resort, wordfence might be worth considering.
