When doing a site for a customer who chooses the theme?

I’m just starting out. Do I just find about 5 themes that I think would fit and present them to them with the URL and screenshots? Or should I let the client go free and pick one?
Pick a good quality minimal theme and you should be able to build any site with it.
You. They don’t know anything about web dev why are they doing the theme?
First lesson in working with clients is understanding if they knew what to do or what they wanted, they wouldn’t be coming to you.
You are the expert who has the right tools for the job, if you can’t take clients direction and figure out how to build what they want, you aren’t ready for this.
Customer tells you what they want their site to look like. At least a few options.
You go look for a theme closest to it. Or you do a custom start from scratch.
