When you were just starting off, how did you find your first client wo was not in your close circle?

[ad_1]

I've been doing websites for mostly my friends and family, and I feel like I am getting a good hang of it. But, I really want to start earning more and getting new clients, but I am struggling with figuring out what would be the best way to find them. I am trying to find a good niche, and was thinking of doing photography websites at first, but then realized that maybe it would be hard to find clients in that field. Anyway, what are your thoughts?

  1. For me the circle slowly widened naturally.

On your specialism I’m not sure photography sites are the best choice. I have worked with photographers and because they are also in a creative field I’ve found them very hard work and also try to hammer down the price. Photographers I think are a really good use-case for Squarespace rather than WordPress.

One industry I’ve though about and I think has potential is health services, such as cosmetic dental. Many companies have terrible sites and they do have the money!
