I’ve been building themes in WP since 2006. I’ve slowed down with those efforts over the past few years. I haven’t kept up with too many modern changes such as the use of blocks. However, when analyzing the 2023 theme, it is dramatically different.
Besides [WP.org]), where else do you recommend I catch up on WP theme changes? For example, the 2023 no longer has a functions.php! It’s starting to look more like a Drupal theme structure.
