Unfortunately, the theme I purchased ‘The Voux’ is outdated and hasn’t seen any updates since 2021.
It causes a very strange bug when combined with The Events Calendar.
Typically with using a filter, the calendar will ping an internal REST server to rebuild the calendar container view. However, the theme causes the filter to ping the actual current URL, resulting in a duplicate page inside the page.
I’m trying to edit the js myself, but I’m not a WordPress dev and I’m not sure where to start.
Are there any materials that I can read or watch to get a hang of this?

When did you buy it? If it was recent, ask for a refund.
Always check the comments and changelog when buying a theme on TF.
