I’m just starting to look into running my own business after a redundancy at my past job. I want to set up a service that runs workshops and also sells resources and content. I know nothing about building websites or starting businesses and I’m trying to find the best option for me. Ideally I want something cheap, easy and can be maintained / added to. I need a few simple landing pages and I also need pages where people can purchase resources (PDF downloads) for relatively small fees (EG $5). Is wordpress the best for this? or is something like Square space a better option for what I need? Any other / better options?
