Hi @sinergyinaction!

It’s based on the “Slide background image fill” option: https://smartslider.helpscoutdocs.com/article/1809-slider-settings-slides
how your images look like in the slider. By default the “fill” option is used which will make the image as big as it needs to be to cover the whole slider. This means that if the slider and image ratios differ, the image will be cropped. Currently, you are probably using the “fit” mode, so that is why these extra spaces can appear. So you should set it back to “fill”, and that should solve the problem.

If you would still have a problem after this, please send us a screenshot, but preferably an export of your slider:

through our form:

Hi, @robertnextendweb I am actually using Fill mode.
So I’ll send you a screenshot
Many thanks for your prompt reply!

I’ m trying to send you the generated export files but they are generated in .zip format and your interface doesn’t allow .zip extentions. Apparently it only allows for .ss3 extension to be uploaded.
On the other hand, my dashboard does’t have a “bulk actions” option (it must be a pro feature I guess)
Is there any other way I can send you what you are asking me to send?
I sent a screenshot through your form
Best regards

The other thing is that I have created many such sliders already for the same webpage and there is only one exhibiting this behaviour

FYI: These sliders are all embedded within an Elementor “section”

Hi @sinergyinaction!

The exporting feature should have created an .ss3 file, if you used the 1st method:
https://smartslider.helpscoutdocs.com/article/1728-export-import-slider#export
so it is weird, that you got a zip file.

And the “bulk actions” only appears, once you use the checkbox at the slider you would like to handle.

But either way, you could write to us directly to:
[email protected]

I managed to display/use the “bulk actions” but it still only let me save in .zip.
I’ll send the .zip file at the support e-mail just given

Thank you

I am trying to send my exported files via the provided e-mail but your e-mail server doesn’t seem to like some of the file extensions, considering them a threat and bounces the e-mail back to me. I’ll send you just the screenshot ….
