White gap between content and footer – help!

[ad_1]

Hi all,
I have a WordPress site on the personal plan (I'm tight on funds to upgrade further so have limited CSS control etc.).

I made a few changes to my homepage and now there's a chunky white gap between the body of the homepage and the footer. There's no obvious cause – I've repeatedly adjusted the padding and margins on everything and even tried adding coloured borders to see if they'd cover it over, but no luck.

How can I get rid of this chunky gap??

Thank you for any advice!

  1. There’s been a random block bottom margin bug in Gutenberg for some time – try going in & editing your page, select the last block on the page & just toggle the margin up and down once – that always removes that phantom margin set. See if that works, that’s what it looks like to me
