I’m trying to move my website from wordpress.com by importing and rebuilding it using LocalWp.
Everything looks the same as when I used wordpress.com while editing except that when I try to edit a paragraph, group or anything everything on the entire page changes. This did not happen on wordpress.com. Adding a border to one paragraph adds a border to everything.
How do I edit just one block at a time?
EDIT: Extra question, when right clicking the list menu on wordpress.com I got the options menu with add above, duplicate etc. Can I get this to work on the LocalWp edit site?

If I add a border to one group it adds a border too all groups instead. Changing text color of one paragraph changes the color of all paragraphs.
Are you clearly seeing different blocks for each paragraph or is everything contained in a single block?
Check to make sure your content wasn’t imported as a single text block. Including potentially a “classic block.” I haven’t seen that specifically importing from WordPress.com but it happens often enough when switching formats from, say, blocks to a page builder or page builder to blocks.
The diagnostic is that when you apply formatting to a block, module, whatever, and the formatting is applied to everything on the page. That’s what’s happening to you with borders.
Possible solution: You might want to try making sure you’re using the block editor and then select everything on the page, delete it with Ctrl+X, and then paste it back in. The block editor *should* re-insert each paragraph as individual blocks.
If instead you’re using a different builder then you’re going to have to manually break the text up into multiple text or other modules/blocks/widgets.
