Every section on the page is created 3 times – each only editable for the desktop/tablet/mobile responsiveness mode.
It means everytime I edit something, I have to update in 3 places…
Plus…Each page has lots of H1, H2s because everything is repeated 3 times which RankMath tells me is an issue (keyword spamming and titles etc.).
Developer was already paid and I’ve taken it back control thinking I’d do minor edits, but I’ve no idea why they’d set it up like this..
Any suggestions of why or what to do?

In short… They’re inexperienced, lazy, and doing it wrong. It goes against everything that responsive design stands for. Be happy you’re no longer working with them.
