I’ve been working on my church’s website on and off for a few months. I’m completely new to web design and development although I work in IT. I have a good start for the time being, but there was one part that keeps bugging me. One thing that we wanted to implement was a photo gallery of the major events that we do throughout the year.
As of now I am using the FooGallery free plugin. Every gallery that I’ve made has its own page that its “assigned” to and the pages are organized by year. You can see what I mean in the screenshots.
[Pages tab in WordPress Admin])This is what the main gallery “landing page” looks like on the frontend.
[Photogallery page])This is what a gallery page would look like:
**My question is**: is there a way for me to have the galleries like on the photogallery page, but without having to make a WordPress page for each individual gallery? As you can see, the list of pages gets long especially with every year and multiple events per year. I was hoping for a way for the plugin to automatically generate each gallery in its own separate page and even its own URL if that’s possible.
I’ve looked around the internet for a while now and I’m not able to find anything that can serve this function. I’m open to premium plugins.
Reading through the post, I see how it can be difficult to understand exactly what I mean. I’ll answer any questions that need clarification.
