I’ve been hosting my wife’s art website on my Synology NAS (via web station) for a few years without too many issues but suddenly the home page has started taking an age to load. The rest of the site loads fine and I’ve not changed anything recently.
I use a theme called Zorka, which I’ve used on other sites without any issues.
I have tried turning on/off plugins but nothing seems to be helping.
I use Redis Object Cache and ReSmush.it all my images.
Any help would be appreciated. [https://navysloth.co.uk](https://navysloth.co.uk)

I’m in the UK, and can ping your domain with decent ms results. Dev tools don’t show any egregious loading issues with the actual HTML/CSS/JS on your page. The issue seems to be pointing to your web server. Check the logs and run some tests to see might be causing it problems. Could be a software update or configuration issue that is impacting it, or could be a misconfigured crawler or malicious traffic that is slowing it all down.
The site and pictures all popped up fast. But it took a long time to reach the site. I had the “Loading” and blank page for a long time. Maybe not an issue with your website itself but the connection to it.
