The media carousel on my landing page seems to be the problem, if I'm interpreting PageSpeed Insights correctly. I know there are a lot of images on my site, but I have even reduced them to a small size specifically for the carousel and disabled all slide animations… Nothing has changed. Is the host the problem? I don't know as I'm a bit of an amateur on this subject tbh. Very grateful for all your opinions.
