Hello everybody, probably many already asked this question and wondered about it, but might it could be good to post about it again since still the world of web design and WordPress is getting more and more hard to understand.
I'm working as a "Wordpress web designer"since couple of years with focus on building the websites with the full site editor (FSE) and mostly the results were super, except some difficulties when I need to do something which usually requires a developer or a paid plugin which my clients refuse to pay, but they want this function to work perfect.
must mention that my clients (on music and art scene) refuse to pay much and are very cheap, and until 2 months ago I want into a breakdown with working as a web designer because of this scense it does not give me much security because of my health issue (I\m a heart transplant) and been hospitalised due to a blood infection.
I have several questions around how to back to web design and work again?
I feel working with FSE and plugins is not an enough skill, what would you suggest so learn/improve beside being a creative web designer?
how do you really get clients out of your network as a web designer? I want to be working with a bit safe network, since due to my situation, also as immigrant in Germany, and my site work as an artist/writer and of course my health situation I sort of forced to take any offer even it’s like a 300 euro for a site.
How do you ask or force clients to pay for a plugin, which will make the site work and look right? or do the the thing that he asks for?
and the last quastion, do you think I need a Web Design focused website which is separated from my other practice?
