WooCommerc and selling something with many, many options

[ad_1]

I am trying to create a woocommerce store in wordpress. The items I am trying to sell can be extremely customized. The length can be anywhere from 40 inches to 70 inches and the width can be between 7 and 11 inches. The length can have increments of 1/4 inch, and the width can have increments of 1/8 inch along with a number of different colors etc. When I try to create variations from all those options, I believe there is a limit of 50 and everything is a big mess. How should I go about creating these custom items for this store?

EDIT: I just did the math. And one item actually could be configured in 12,000 different ways

EDIT2: The guy I’m helping to build this site for is very cheap, so free options would be appreciated.

  1. I use a plugin that adds many custom fields to products. So it’s a simple product but has tons of custom options ranging from text input fields to dropdowns, checkboxes etc. The one I use is from studio wombat.
