How to show rectangular products – let’s say postcards – at maximum size where some are landscape and some are portrait orientation.
The standard solution is to bound all products in a square ‘box’, but that limits the size of the product as it displays within the box.
Another solution is to choose one or other orientation as ‘standard’ and let the other orientation display smaller. (see image below where a landscape orientation image is max width the width of portrait orientation images)
I would be able to segregate categories so only one orientation per product category but the standard Woo solution isn’t granular enough to solve the problem I have described.
So how to achieve a display that shows pages of portrait orientation products at full size and pages of landscape orientation products at full size?
