We have two plugins – one that has been in the directory for over 10 years and another for over 5 years. We have always been great community members and have never done anything wrong. Recently, our marketing agency solicited fake reviews after telling us they were asking real users of our products to post sincere reviews. We were put on notice and when we looked into it found out that our agency was actually asking real people (but not users of our products) to post reviews. We got very upset and immediately shut down this effort from our agency. We take responsibility for this as we should have managed them better and apologized to the WordPress plugin team. However, a couple of days ago they banned us altogether. It seems they think we were setting up sock puppet accounts. We have not been doing so. We did have to make some user changes as there were other users on our account no longer with the company and there was a password breach notice sent out by the wordpress team in late June. However, we never created sock puppet accounts with the intent to post fake reviews. One of our team members did write a single review from one of our plugins for our other plugin thinking this was fine to do as each product uses the other one as a customer and has for a long time. However, it seems like they think we have done something else but we have no information on what they think we have done so we can show that we haven't. This ban will have a massive impact on our company and employees and we are trying to learn what we can do. We're very grateful for any guidance you or the community can provide in this manner. THANK YOU in advance for any help.

This isn’t a WordPress CMS issue and you should contact the plugin review team instead. No one can help with this here.
