Has anyone else had very slow or no response from WordPress support.? Or bad advice? I had to wait 3 days and was told I should do a bulk edit so as an experiment I tried it on 2 pages. The problem was the image library was inserting deleted images into the featured image. When I did the bulk edit it broke both pages so If I had tried their tip I would have ruined 2 months' work. over 100 pages.
I noticed support was 12 hours in the first week, then 24 hours, then 3 days. So I have been waiting for 3 days again. I paid them nearly $400 for this, I thought it would be worth it because I would have a working site quickly. Over 2 months and I have no site.
This sub is mainly for Self Hosted WordPress.org..
There is no support only community support.
Issues with WordPress.com have to be taken up with WordPress.com support.
This is for the WordPress CMS. Not the SaaS .com service.
One of the good things about WordPress is no vendor lock , you can move hosting to someone else who gives better support no need to deal with slow and unhelpful support.At you price range you can explore many managed hosts who will take care of these issues fast.
There is no support for WordPress. You’re asking about WordPress.com which is a private hosting company, unrelated to this sub. Most people in this sub, myself included, will recommend you get WordPress anywhere besides WordPress.com (and godaddy)
