WordPress website help

[ad_1]

I need some help with my WordPress website. I have all my post under a category and did not make a page for each category, not sure if that is the issue, but basically on my home page it shows all my most recent blog post which is what I want. I have it limited to 10 post per page but when I click next page to view the older blogs, it’s just keep showing only the most recent 10 blogs posted. So even though it gives the built in option to go next page when I posted over 10 blogs, it’s shows the same recent posts as the first page. I cannot view any older blogs. The blogs can still be searched or found in the drop down at the top under there respective category, but don’t show up on the home page.

  1. Hmm. My first hunch is that your pagination is broken (pagination is the prev/next/page # links), like the queries for the next bunch is incorrect, or the actual `href` on the “Next” link isn’t set correctly.

I’d want to see the markup for the pagination and also the home page template. Could be something simple in one of those, could be a plugin that’s intercepting and borking the request/query, could be simple typo somewhere.

For this kind of thing where you’re asking randos on the internet to help, you need to make sure to include details about your site’s setup. We have no idea what theme or plugins you’re using or if it’s custom built from scratch. Without that kind of info, it’s impossible to narrow down anything.

  2. Disable all plugins

Check the address bar params are actually changing when clicking paginated link
